The Estate
Epitome Vineyard Estate is part of a private, 200-acre vineyard lifestyle community created for owners who share an appreciation for wine, nature, design, and the relaxed rhythm of Mendoza’s Uco Valley.
Established in 2008, Epitome has grown into far more than the current owners first imagined: a private vineyard residence, a family retreat, and a deeply personal wine-country project set against one of the most beautiful backdrops in Argentina.
The villa offers approximately 300 square metres of living space, including about 60 square metres of covered gallery space, designed to support comfortable indoor-outdoor living. A generous swimming pool is integrated into the outdoor entertaining area, creating a natural gathering place for family, friends, long lunches, and quiet afternoons in the sun.
From the house, the Andes and surrounding vineyards are always part of the experience. The symmetry of the vines, the scale of the mountains, and the warm days followed by cooling breezes create a setting that feels calm, restorative, and unmistakably connected to the land.

Set on 6.1 hectares in Argentina’s Uco Valley, the estate includes approximately 4.55 hectares of established vineyard, planted in 2008 to Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Syrah.
At the heart of the property is a comfortable, fully equipped villa with three bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, plus a powder room. The spacious kitchen and great room feature vaulted ceilings, creating an inviting setting for family, friends, long lunches, and relaxed evenings after a day among the vines.

The Vineyard
Quality by Design from the first Vine.
Quality has guided Epitome from the beginning – from the vineyard’s original design and painting to its ongoing care and stewardship.
An established high-altitude vineyard planted to Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Syrah in the heart of Argentina’s Uco Valley.. Set at approximately 3,300 feet above sea level, the vineyard benefits from intense sunlight, cool nights, alluvial soils, and the dramatic mountain setting that has helped make the Uco Valley internationally recognized for premium wine production.
The vineyard was planted in 2008 to the specifications of owner Dennis Grimm, with the first Malbec harvest taking place in 2012. Today, approximately 12.5 acres are planted to four classic red varieties:
Malbec: 5.0 acres
Cabernet Franc: 3.0 acres
Merlot: 3.0 acres
Syrah: 1.5 acres
The vines are planted at close spacing, with approximately 1 metre between vines and 2.2 metres between rows. The vineyard is trained using a Vertical Shoot Positioning system, with two production arms, and is green-harvested to encourage quality and balance in the fruit.
A computerized drip irrigation system supports careful water management through the growing season. As harvest approaches, vineyard practices are adjusted to encourage concentration, ripeness, and varietal expression in the grapes.
Like many premium vineyard sites, Epitome requires attentive seasonal care. The semi-arid climate, changing weather patterns, and occasional hail risk mean the vineyard must be actively managed. That work, however, is part of the rhythm and reward of owning a working vineyard — and each harvest brings the satisfaction of seeing the land, vines, and effort come together.
